Users can now be more expressive with their reactions with; \u201cangry\u201d, \u201csad\u201d, \u201clove\u201d, \u201cwow\u201d, \u201chaha\u201d and the regular \u201clike\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">By hovering over the \u201clike\u201d button users can now access the five new reactions when they are on any post, picture or video. These new reactions come after many designs, testing and Mark Zuckerberg finally realizing that not everything is \u201clikeable\u201d. Six is way better than one!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cMark gathered a bunch of people in a room and was like, \u2018hey we\u2019ve been hearing this feedback from people for a really, really long time,\u2019\u201d recalled product design director at Facebook, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wired.com\/2016\/02\/facebook-reactions-totally-redesigned-like-button\/#slide-3\"><span class=\"s2\">Julie Zhuo<\/span><\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wired.com\/2016\/02\/facebook-reactions-totally-redesigned-like-button\/#slide-3\">With 90% of Facebook<\/a><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> users accessing via their mobile devices, users needed a quick way to react to items in their feed. While there is the option to comment on news feed items, the reactions are a much faster way to respond. Next time a friend shares something that you feel awkward \u201cliking\u201d you now have five other ways you can react to it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Of course it took some time to finally reach the final 6 reactions. According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wired.com\/2016\/02\/facebook-reactions-totally-redesigned-like-button\/#slide-3\"><span class=\"s2\">Wired<\/span><\/a>, Zhuo and her team looked at the most used stickers and one-word comments to build the reactions. These variations were tested with users and helped to bring Facebook to their final decision.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/candybox2018.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Reactions-Variations-1024x560.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2573\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2573\" src=\"https:\/\/candybox2018.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Reactions-Variations-1024x560.jpg\" alt=\"Reactions-Variations-1024x560\" width=\"1024\" height=\"560\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Can\u2019t find where the new reactions are?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">If you are on your mobile device, simply hold down the \u201clike\u201d button.
