People are spending any extra time that they have walking through cities and exploring landmarks, and some have even quit their jobs in order to &#8220;catch &#8217;em all.&#8221; Within three days,\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon GO had more active users on it than Twitter, proving that Niantic, the company that developed this game, has captured the hearts of players both young and old. Most of our team has downloaded the app and are on our way to becoming\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon GO masters. Here are a few of our favourite\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Ryan<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>My favourite Pok\u00e9mon is Electabuzz, mostly because he was one of the first kinds of Pok\u00e9mon I caught, but also because he looks like some kind of alien superhero &#8211; he has a giant lightning bolt on his chest and a permanent look of grim determination that would make Christian Bale jealous. Also, he apparently works part time as a lightning rod by standing on top of buildings, and I respect that he&#8217;s able to hold down a job.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8352\" src=\"https:\/\/spcdn.shortpixel.ai\/spio\/ret_img,q_cdnize,to_webp,s_webp\/www.candyboxmarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Screenshot_20160803-125659-169x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"169\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Kristina<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As I go through the Pokedex online, trying to narrow down one favourite Pokemon, all my childhood memories are coming back to me. Playing Pok\u00e9mon leaf on my Gameboy, my go-to Pok\u00e9mon was always #006 Charizard. From watching the show, he was always like a stubborn teenager, challenging to train, but if you could perfect it, paid off big time.<\/p>\n<p>I kept looking through the Pokedex, #038 Ninetails, I thought it was super fluffy looking and would be a sweet pet\u2026oh, I forgot about Arcanine #059, a sweet fire dog and #078 Rapidash, a fire unicorn.<\/p>\n<p>Then I realized\u00a0I must be part pyromaniac because all of my favourite Pok\u00e9mon are fire type. I don\u2019t think I can narrow down my favourite to one specific Pok\u00e9mon. Rather, my favourite type of Pok\u00e9mon, which is fire. From the difficult and stubborn Charizard&#8217;s\u00a0to the underrated \u201ccute\u201d fire unicorn, Rapidash\u2026who doesn\u2019t love a fire unicorn?! If I could, I would be the Pok\u00e9mon Master of fire Pok\u00e9mon.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8353\" src=\"https:\/\/spcdn.shortpixel.ai\/spio\/ret_img,q_cdnize,to_webp,s_webp\/www.candyboxmarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/giphy-15.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/giphy.com\/gifs\/l46CCUF5vr15uocve\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Via GIPHY<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I honestly know nothing about Pok\u00e9mon &#8211; I\u2019m not cool enough for that. As it was difficult to choose a favourite when I don&#8217;t know any characters, I did what made the most sense &#8211; I went to Google and searched \u201cWhich Pok\u00e9mon Am I?\u201d I clicked on the most reliable source (<a href=\"http:\/\/nintendo.com\/\">nintendo.com<\/a>) did the 7 question quiz and I learned I was Pikachu since I like adventure and excitement. Although I hate to argue with the founders, I must say I don\u2019t necessarily think I\u2019m overly adventurous, but I guess they would know best.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8354\" src=\"https:\/\/spcdn.shortpixel.ai\/spio\/ret_img,q_cdnize,to_webp,s_webp\/www.candyboxmarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Screen-Shot-2016-08-02-at-9.06.37-AM-300x182.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"182\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Heather<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When this question was first asked in our Creative Studio back when\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon GO was first being rolled out in countries around the world, I could not answer it. I never watched\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon or played with the cards, making the excitement around this mobile app a mystery to me. It wasn&#8217;t until I decided to draw one of the\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon creatures that I found my favourite. Maybe it&#8217;s because its the first\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon that I was exposed to, or because I couldn&#8217;t pronounce the name properly for a few days but my favourite has to be Bulbasaur. He is cute, spunky and one of the classics (as far as I know), so why not?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8355\" src=\"https:\/\/spcdn.shortpixel.ai\/spio\/ret_img,q_cdnize,to_webp,s_webp\/www.candyboxmarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG_20160713_132607-262x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"262\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Mahfuz<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>This one is easy: <b>Charmander<\/b>!<\/div>\n<div>I still remember breaking open my piggy bank to purchase Pok\u00e9mon Red and immediately picking Charmander as my starter.<\/div>\n<div>As soon as I started playing Pok\u00e9mon GO, I had to stick with my roots and choose Charmander as my starter once again.<\/div>\n<div>An epic dino-lizard Pok\u00e9mon with a flame on its tail? I haven\u2019t really gotten into the new Pok\u00e9mon Go app on my phone because unfortunately having a job makes it pretty difficult to spend all day running around town catching Pok\u00e9mon and finding pokestops. So after my Google search of \u201ccool Pok\u00e9mon characters\u201d&#8230;*drumroll*&#8230;SNORLAX, I CHOOSE YOU. On Snorlax\u2019s profile, I found his description: \u201cSnorlax&#8217;s typical day consists of nothing more than eating and sleeping.
