We are looking for an experienced, creative, and skilled Sr. Project Manager with a Website and Product Design background, and a passion for digital marketing to join our dynamic team!
 
As a Sr. Project Manager you will work with clients from a variety of different industries. You will be responsible for the successful creation and managing of relevant website projects. The successful candidate will have a positive disposition and demonstrate excellent communication, time management and problem-solving skills.
 
This is a full-time position for candidates located within drive time of our Studio in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.

1) Sr. Project Management Skills
  • You manage multiple projects at once, within budget and deliver on time.
  • You’re a pro with project management software like Monday.com.
  • You have excellent communication, time management and problem solving skills.
  • You’re able to trouble shoot project road blocks coaching team members through to project success.
2) Website and Product Design Skills/Knowledge
  • You have experience with designing websites, landing pages or other design elements.
  • You understand the importance of utilizing UI/UX principles and practices.
  • You ensure the incorporation of digital marketing knowledge across all projects.
3) Web Development Knowledge
  • You have general knowledge about content management systems such as wordpress to skillfully manage website production projects including client communications and team members.

responsibilities

Key Actions – Sr. Project Manager
  • Develop strong “trust based” client relationships.
  • Keep up to date project records on relevant information on clients and projects using appropriate software.
  • Convey a strong and real passion for the success of the project from start to finish and take those actions necessary to ensure that success.
  • Work with clients in a variety of different industries to execute new projects and marketing initiatives.
  • Create marketing strategies, creative briefs and schedules to be implemented across web/search/social/video/photography + branding.
  • Create and present account strategies to clients, followed by their successful implementation.
  • Maintain continued client communications obtaining the necessary client approvals to keep projects successfully within timelines and budgets.
  • Develop a gantt chart for all on-going projects across the team of resources.
  • Develop new ideas + programs that customers can use to generate online leads + sales.
  • Introduce customers to new services that Candybox has to offer, where appropriate to grow their business.
  • Build supportive relationships with the Candybox team.
  • Manage team members to ensure budgets are being kept or adjusted, along with timelines and deliverables.
  • Identify project “roadblocks” and coach and manage team members on possible solutions to ensure successful progress of projects.
  • Provide support for the relevant department team members involved in the projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze and assess client account situations and strategize solutions.
  • Maintain up to date Toggl and Monday Boards as per department process requirements
  • Manage 5+ direct reports
  • Problem-solve medium-large size client issues with minimal support.
  • Service + build strong relationships with larger accounts as assigned.
  • Take initiative to build and foster ongoing open communication with your Team Lead, CEO and COO.
  • Demonstrate a holistic view of the company with keen attention to the development and implementation of ideas for growth and extraordinary success.
  • Project manage and coordinate across teams, as needed, on different accounts.
  • Foster and create a safe and positive environment of collaboration where team members can express their ideas and work together to succeed on projects.
  • Lead meetings, prepare and present meeting agendas and conduct meeting wrap-ups and follow-ups.
  • Step up and take on the overall accountability for project success.
  • Take initiative to expand your existing knowledge base beyond the scope of essential knowledge for your role.
  • Develop and implement advanced marketing strategies and role expertise.
  • Provide support/coaching on small tasks/issues for the department team members as needed or as called upon by the Team Lead, CEO or COO (For example, assist with the onboarding training of New Hires).
  • Assist the sales teams with meetings/numbers as needed or called upon by the Sales Team or Team Lead.
  • Lead 3-4 key initiatives per year (OPSPs) (For example: assist the sales team with the creation of new services).

requirements for the role

  • Be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Post-secondary credentials in an applicable technology or design field
  • Project and resource management experience (and ideally accreditation)
  • Experience managing and leading Teams
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Easily learn new softwares (Reporting, tracking etc)
  • Proficient in an Apple and Google Drive environment
